I Could Fill the Earth’s Vessel

I could fill the earth’s vessel
With a thousand songs,
Yet if thou doth heed not
I’m just a sounding cymbal
A blowing horn.
I could scribe on the heaven’s canopy
Innumerable poems
And immeasurable praises
If thou dare not dwell thine eyes on it
Nor cast thine glance a few instance,
Hence the sky is just an empty canvas
A lifeless portrait.
For thou art the air that compose my being
And drifts through the deepest recess of my breath.
How thou master my life and rule my comfort again and again
amidst laughter and despair,
I dwell my life in you
Like the earth to the sky,
The air to my breath,
A praise to a song
Within mine heart and soul…
Forever!
