Éclat to the Pliant Tree

The wind hath blown…
And springy bamboo tree bent flexibly.
A nearby tree laughed tauntingly,
Beholding the resilient bamboo tree.

Mistral wind turned much intense
Thus foliage fell off from his branch.
His leaves yelled out exceedingly
As his roots renounced their intensity.

The wind hath blown lastly once more.
Crackling sounds discerned deep sores.
Gone is he as silence crawled…
Where could he be, the taunting tree?

Pliant tree then stood firmly
His day had passed once more safely.
Trials he believes build him more thoroughly…
In éclat his leaves affirmed, “Timed humbleness has strengthened me!”
