Remember me…
When the sunset touches the horizon’s bend
As the driftwood sails yon shore’s fence…
Draw me to mind.
When the gale blows forth the chaff
And daylight scoffs the weary night…
Though a new day shines without
In turning or yearning…
In memory, always remember.
As I repose hereto forth
Touch not my shadow
With disregard nor sorrow…
However, in awe
As my face sits in the glorious sand
Hence, the gracious grass covets mine hand…
Where the breeze lingers might’ly naught
Nor any voice wakes forth my thoughts…
Amidst the Potter’s Land
Do not forget the road we took and traveled
Yet if thine heart be grieved or bothered…
Let go of me and forget me now
My dear to thee I plead, forever.
