My Solace

Let me fly to my solace
Whilst time is yet to race.
Conquer words I desire to say
At the end of each day.

Let me vision the dawn’s horizon,
That bequeaths forth mine wreath of fame
Let me drink off my cup
So it can be filled again.

Let me vision thy beauty
Whilst mine eyes can clearly see
Stroke the foliage of June flowers,
For in autumn time they wither.

Let me enlace mine home with care,
Proffer mine haven’s share
For none could tell when I would part
I’ll bear good memoirs the road imparts.

For when season arrives me to eternal rest
I would not raise to mind have I done my best?
So crown not mine hair with winter yet
If I have not breathe my life to the fullest.
