You are a silence
After a thunder amidst a raging storm.
A hush in a crowded busy street…
A ripple from a stone thrown in a quiet stream.
O! How you
Disturb & calm me
Each day you set my heart
Like a forest on fire
Yet subdues my thoughts
Like a glorious sunset.
Time and again you ne’er fail to enchant me…
And draw me nigh to you…
As the sun is to the east with each rising!
My sweetest aspiration
My strongest battlefield
My ardent devotion
And most desperate frustration
How can I live my worth without…You!
