Who are you?
To shatter my deep repose and compose my dreams
And rest in unending flight and visions of you.
You trigger my impulses, shake my nerves,
And imprison each breath and undertaking.
You tremble my heart my blood pool out of my vessels from fear of your coming out and walking in.
How dare you embark my mind afar
And enslave my firm composure
As though you own my saga and rule each escapade.
Like a legion’s commander
You lead me to battle where I’m pierced on all sides
And left lying each day like a wounded soldier begging
“Give me peace or grant me forever freedom!”
